At Amsterdam Engraving Company, every item is handcrafted and often custom engraved specifically for you. Because of the personalized nature of our products, we have established the following return policy to ensure clarity and fairness for both our customers and our business.

All personalized, custom engraved, made-to-order, or customized products are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

This includes (but is not limited to):

• Custom engraved cutting boards
• Personalized whiskey decanters
• Pet memorial plaques
• Custom slate engravings
• Engraved charcuterie boards
• Made-to-order wall clocks
• Custom keepsake and jewelry boxes

Please review all spelling, dates, and customization details carefully before submitting your order. Amsterdam Engraving Company is not responsible for errors submitted by the customer at checkout.

Non-custom, non-personalized items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

• The item must be unused and in original condition.
• The item must be returned in its original packaging.
• The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Once the item is received and inspected, a refund will be issued to the original form of payment, minus original shipping charges.

Please include:

• Your order number
• Clear photos of the damage
• Photos of the packaging

If the damage occurred during shipping or a production error occurred, we will repair, replace, or refund the item at no additional cost to you.

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided production has not yet begun.

Once production has started, the order cannot be canceled due to the custom nature of our products.

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days after inspection of returned items.

Please note that financial institutions may require additional processing time before funds appear in your account.

Because our products are handcrafted from natural wood, slate, and resin materials, variations in grain, color, texture, and engraving tone are normal and are not considered defects.

These natural characteristics are part of what makes each piece unique.
